Slab Sawing

Slab sawing is done with a walk-behind machine with a circular blade. American Cutting & Drilling has access to blades from 16 up to 60 inches; making some of the deepest cuts possible with the use of a slab saw. The toughest slab sawing jobs are done with 100 horsepower, diesel powered machines that assist the operating in advancing forwards. In areas where gas powered saws are not feasible, we also have electric powered slab saws capable of cutting 20 inches deep.

When an opening is cut with a slab saw, other specialized tools and equipment may be needed to actually remove the section of concrete, making this a job for well-eqipped professionals only.
